New Leaf Search has partnered with an international provider of business-to-business financial solutions in its search for a Business Development Manager, Industry.

Location: UK, England (Flexible Location) (Remote).

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading international asset finance organisation and play a key role in growing its Industry Finance business across England.

We are seeking an experienced new business developer with a strong track record in hard asset finance who can identify, acquire and develop profitable relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, introducers and end-user customers. The successful candidate will focus primarily on the manufacturing sector, although candidates with strong experience in construction equipment or transport finance will also be of interest.

This is a home-based role with regular UK travel, offering excellent long-term career development within a well-established global financial services organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities across the manufacturing, transport and hard asset sectors
  • Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, introducers and end customers
  • Generate new opportunities through prospecting, networking, client meetings and industry events
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Structure and negotiate hard asset finance solutions
  • Deliver sales and product training to introducer and supplier partners
  • Achieve agreed sales, growth and profitability targets
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and accurate forecasting

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven Asset Finance, Leasing or Commercial Finance business development experience
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment finance preferred
  • Construction equipment or transport finance experience also welcomed
  • Excellent new business generation and relationship-building capability
  • Good understanding of leases, hire purchase and loan structures
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven
  • Comfortable working remotely with frequent customer travel
  • Collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.

You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
