Welcome to AFC's Receivable Finance community led by Mike Symes (acting community leader)

Finance Connect’s Receivables Community is a peer‑led forum where senior leaders meet to spark ideas and network—aiming to restore growth, strengthen margins, and serve more customers. Following a workshop dinner with CEOs of the UK’s largest receivables firms, our initial focus is industry reinvention to meet the next generation of SME and corporate working‑capital needs. We will develop go‑to‑market strategies for micro‑SMEs (sub‑£500k) and FD‑led businesses; deliver speed, simplicity and certainty; replace capabilities lost as big banks withdraw; harness technology as an enabler; re‑energise accountant and broker channels; and build a sustainable digital route‑to‑market—through interactive sessions, not presentations.
