Equipment Finance Sponsored by Equipment Finance News MedShare receives warehouse equipment donation from DLL Published: 17th December 2025 Share MedShare, a non-profit humanitarian aid organisation focused on improving access to healthcare for underserved communities, has received a donation of six pieces of warehouse equipment from global finance company DLL. The donation includes two pallet jacks, three electric forklifts and a charger. The equipment will be used at MedShare’s warehouse, where the organisation sources, sorts and ships surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need in the United States and internationally. According to MedShare, the additional equipment is expected to improve warehouse efficiency and speed the assembly of ocean container shipments. “This donation from DLL is a game-changer for our operations,” said Stacey Koehnke, CEO and executive director of MedShare International. She said the equipment will help reduce bottlenecks, lower reliance on temporary labour and allow shipments of medical supplies to move more quickly to first responders and affected communities. Over the past 18 months, MedShare has delivered more than $12 million in medical supplies and equipment, supporting healthcare needs for an estimated 550,000 people worldwide. During that period, the organisation shipped more than $20 million in donated medical supplies, personal protective equipment, wound care materials and spinal surgical kits to partners in Ukraine. MedShare has also provided supplies to volunteers and responders assisting communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, and recently sent 10 pallets of medical supplies to Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. Neal Garnett, chief commercial officer and executive board member at DLL, said the donation followed his exposure to MedShare’s work at an industry conference. “I was inspired by MedShare’s mission when I learned about their work at a recent ELFA conference,” Garnett said. “I’m proud that DLL didn’t hesitate to step in and was able to provide warehouse equipment they urgently needed.” “Supporting organisations that deliver life-saving resources aligns perfectly with our commitment to building meaningful industry connections and channelling our resources toward causes that make a real difference.” MedShare is a 501(c)(3) organisation that works with hospitals, manufacturers and health systems to redirect surplus medical supplies to areas facing shortages. The organisation relies on donated equipment and logistics support to maintain its global distribution efforts. DLL’s Asset Sales team manages equipment returned at the end of leases and facilitates reuse or redeployment of machinery. The company said the donation reflects its practice of reintroducing equipment into active use when possible. The equipment is already being integrated into MedShare’s warehouse operations, where staff and volunteers prepare shipments for domestic and international relief efforts.
