Receivables Finance News Cynergy Business Finance delivers £17m facility to Steel Dynamics Group Published: 1st October 2025 Share Cynergy Business Finance (CBF) has provided a £17 million asset-based lending facility to Lancashire-headquartered Steel Dynamics Group, alongside an undisclosed equity investment from Bolt Industries. The funding package, which includes invoice discounting, inventory finance, asset finance, and a cashflow loan, will give Steel Dynamics additional liquidity to meet growing demand while supporting its strategy to lower customer costs and boost UK manufacturing competitiveness. Founded in 2011, Steel Dynamics Group is a fast-growing supplier and processor of stainless, carbon, and non-ferrous materials. Through its divisions Steel Dynamics UK, Offshore Stainless Supplies, and P&P Bornmore Metals, the group serves high-spec sectors such as nuclear, offshore, and petrochemicals. Its advanced cutting capabilities include the UK’s largest 14m x 4m waterjet machine.
