Equipment Finance Sponsored by Corporate Member Equipment Finance News Econocom returns to growth in Q3 with revenue up 5% Published: 26th October 2026 Share Econocom has reported a return to revenue growth in the third quarter of 2026, with total revenue increasing by 5%, including organic growth of 3.4%, as the Group’s transformation strategy begins to deliver results. The European digital technology and financing group recorded revenue of €2.097bn for the first nine months of 2026, representing a decline of 1% on a reported basis and 2.6% organically compared with the same period last year. Despite the year-to-date decline, Econocom said its third-quarter performance reflected improving momentum across the business, supported by measures introduced earlier in the year to address geopolitical uncertainty and supply chain pressures. Econocom’s Technology Management & Financing (TMF) division reported revenue of €698m for the first nine months, down 18.6% year-on-year, compared with a decline of 24.5% in the first half. The Group attributed the reduction primarily to its cautious approach to own-booked financing transactions as it seeks to contain net debt. Excluding these transactions, TMF revenue declined by 6.6%, an improvement on the 8% fall reported in the first half. Meanwhile, Products & Solutions (P&S) delivered strong growth, with revenue increasing by 15.7% to €1.007bn. The division benefited from the integration of audiovisual businesses acquired in 2025, with organic growth of 11.1% supplemented by a 4.6% contribution from acquisitions. Econocom’s Services division remained broadly stable, generating revenue of €392m, up 0.9% compared with the first nine months of 2025. The Group is continuing to implement its One Econocom transformation plan, focusing on higher-value services, operational efficiency and debt reduction. A key element is the rollout of Econocom Infrastructure Solutions, a new strategic business domain designed to strengthen its technology infrastructure offering. The Group has also announced changes to its Board of Directors, with Quentin Bouchard, Managing Director of Products & Services France and General Manager Group Tech & Security, and Israel Garcia, Managing Director of Business Development & Strategic Plan and Country Manager UK & Ireland, appointed as directors. In addition, the Board has proposed the appointment of Véronique Torner as an independent director, subject to approval at the General Meeting on 24 November 2026. Angel Benguigui, CEO of Econocom Group, said: “Econocom posted total revenue growth of 5% in the third quarter, including 3.4% on an organic basis. This demonstrates the Group’s resilience, supported by the diversity of its businesses, geographies and client base. “We are also continuing the Group’s transformation with discipline, accelerating the rollout of our higher value-added offerings, notably with the Econocom Infrastructure Solutions domain, while keeping operational excellence as our number one priority.” Despite challenging conditions in the technology market, Econocom has reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, forecasting revenue growth of between 2% and 3%. The Group said its improving third-quarter performance supported its strategy of developing higher-value offerings while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and financial discipline. Econocom is scheduled to publish its full-year 2026 results on 11 February 2027, after the close of trading.
