Appointments Sponsored by Appointments Lenvi expands standby servicing team by 50% Published: 20th October 2026 Share Lending software provider Lenvi has expanded its specialist standby servicing team by 50% during 2026, following growing demand from lenders and investors across multiple asset classes. The expansion includes two senior appointments, with Catherine Foan joining as Head of Standby Operations and Stacey Chambers appointed as Standby Invocation and Testing Manager. Catherine Foan joins Lenvi after almost 30 years at Principality Building Society, where she spent much of her career leading operational incident management. Stacey Chambers returns to Lenvi following a previous 10-year tenure with the business. She also brings eight years of experience at HML, alongside expertise in loan management software and servicing operations. The appointments follow a period of growth for Lenvi’s standby servicing business, which has secured more than 50 new deals over the past 12 months, covering over £7bn of additional funding. Lenvi now provides standby servicing protection for more than £48bn of loan assets across over 200 funding lines, reinforcing its position as Europe’s largest standby servicing provider. Recent appointments as back-up service provider include Funding Circle, the London Stock Exchange-listed SME finance platform, motor finance provider Billing Finance and personal loans lender Abound. Standby servicing arrangements provide lenders and investors with contingency support, enabling loan administration and servicing activities to continue if an existing servicer becomes unable to fulfil its obligations. Lenvi said it has managed several standby servicing invocations during 2026, covering insolvency, non-insolvency and more complex situations. The company has also introduced a forensic Invocation Testing service, allowing clients to rehearse realistic servicing transfer scenarios using the same procedures that would be followed during a live invocation. The service is designed to help lenders and investors assess operational readiness and identify potential challenges before a servicing transfer becomes necessary. Owain Chambers, Director of Capital Markets at Lenvi, said: “We’re continuing to invest in the people, expertise and capability needed to support the growing demand for standby servicing. Catherine and Stacey bring significant operational experience that will further strengthen our offering and help shape the next phase of growth. “As the market continues to evolve, lenders and investors increasingly recognise the importance of appointing a standby servicer with proven operational experience. Unlike providers whose capability is largely theoretical, we’ve supported clients through real invocations across a range of scenarios, giving them confidence that if they’re ever needed, the processes, people and expertise are already in place.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Corporate Member AppointmentsClose Brothers appoints Oliver McEntyre as Head of Agriculture AppointmentsPMD Business Finance appoints Chris Rushworth as Sales Director AppointmentsLiam Coleman appointed Chair of Financial Ombudsman Service
