Stance appoints Rebecca Walton as BDM for the North

Stance Asset Finance has appointed Rebecca Walton as Business Development Manager for the North of England, as it continues to build out its dedicated sales team ahead of its forthcoming market launch.

Rebecca’s appointment follows the recent hires of Cherrice Baffana and Alex Fowler, as Stance Asset Finance – the new asset finance brand from United Trust Bank (UTB) – strengthens its sales capability in preparation for an initial launch to Founders Club members later this month.

Rebecca brings a decade of experience in financial services and asset finance, having spent the last five years at Haydock Finance in a range of operational and sales roles. Most recently, she held the position of Regional Broker Manager within the Sales team. In her new role, Rebecca will support the launch and growth of Stance Asset Finance, helping to drive business volumes and build strong, long-term relationships with brokers across the North of England.

Stance Asset Finance, which encourages brokers to ‘unfollow the crowd’, will be powered by UTB’s operational infrastructure and technology, while operating with dedicated Sales BDM and Underwriting teams. The new proposition is designed to support brokers whose customers fall just outside UTB’s traditional credit criteria, offering competitive funding and refinance solutions across a wide range of hard assets, industries and sectors.

The business will initially launch to its ‘Founders Club’ members in mid-February, with a wider market launch planned for Q2 2026.
