Associations Roel Winters appointed Chairman of Leasing Nederland-NVL Published: 5th December 2025 Share Leasing Nederland-NVL has appointed Roel Winters of ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V. as its new chairman following changes to the association’s board agreed at its recent members’ meeting. At the members’ meeting held on November 4, Marcel Spijkers stepped down from his role as chairman, while Catherine Meyers resigned as a board member. The changes were confirmed in an update issued on December 4, 2025. Hanneke ter Velde of DLL and Matthijs den Breeje of Hiltermann have joined the board of directors. Under the new board composition, Winters was appointed chairman of the association. As part of the reshuffle, Winters stepped down from his previous role as treasurer. That position has been taken over by Jean-Paul van Grinsven of ING. Matthijs den Breeje has also assumed the role of statutory secretary, replacing Winters in that position. The remaining board members are Jochem Leuverink of LFH, Marieke van Zuien of BNP Paribas and Hanneke ter Velde of DLL. Leasing Nederland-NVL represents the interests of leasing and asset-based finance providers in the Netherlands.
