NETSOL Technologies has announced a series of senior leadership changes across its Americas and European businesses as it targets further growth in automotive finance, equipment leasing and digital retail.

Faizaan Ghauri has been appointed President of NETSOL Technologies Americas (NTA), moving from his previous position as Chief Strategy Officer.

In the new role, Ghauri will lead NTA’s strategic, commercial and revenue growth activities, with responsibility for sales, business development, strategic accounts, customer growth and partnerships. He will also support the company’s delivery, finance, accounting and other operational functions in the region.

Ghauri has spent 15 years with NETSOL in a variety of roles, primarily focused on technology and innovation, and holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

As part of the changes, Peter Minshall, currently Executive Vice President for NTA, will relocate to the UK to become Director, Finance and Operations for Europe.

Minshall will oversee finance and operations across NETSOL Technologies Europe (NTE) and Virtual Lease Services (VLS), NETSOL’s wholly-owned subsidiary providing portfolio and risk management servicing to business and consumer finance providers in the UK.

Before joining NETSOL, Minshall held senior leadership roles at Daimler Financial Services covering finance, operations and project portfolio functions.

Umar Qadri will also relocate to the UK and will continue as Deputy Head of Global Sales, with an increased focus on Europe.

His responsibilities will extend across NTE and VLS, supporting sales activity within both businesses alongside his wider global remit.

Najeeb Ghauri, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NETSOL Technologies, said the changes were designed to strengthen the company’s leadership in markets where it sees further opportunities for growth.

“Faizaan has been closely involved in shaping our strategic direction and this appointment is a natural extension of that work,” he said.

“Peter and Umar have each spent years building relationships and institutional knowledge across our business and moving closer to our European operations allows them to put that experience directly to work where we see significant opportunity ahead.”
