George Ashworth joins Virgin Money

George Ashworth has left his role as managing director of the UK branch of ABN AMBRO Lease to join Virgin Money as the bank announces a potential push into SME banking.

In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, Virgin Money said it was ‘delighted’ to welcome Ashworth, who has a 25 year track record in SME banking and was previously head of asset finance at Aldermore Bank and chairman of the asset finance division of the Finance & Leasing Association.
