First Response Motor Finance has become the first non-prime lender to adopt iVendi’s latest technology platform, enabling faster, more accessible online quoting and application processes for thousands of used car, bike, and van retailers.

With offices in Nottingham, Leigh, and Glasgow, First Response says the move marks a major step forward in expanding its dealer network and enhancing customer service.

Jonathan Such, Head of Sales at First Response, commented: “As a business, we are very much focused on strong dealer relationships and a customer-first service. The new iVendi technology will allow us to make significant gains in both of these areas.

“Not only will we be able to process quotes and applications almost instantly for our existing dealers and their customers, but the door is now open to working with a wide pool of used vehicle retailers who have signed up to the new iVendi platform and can access our products and exceptional service offering for the first time.”

The partnership opens new opportunities for dealers using iVendi’s platform to offer finance options to a broader range of customers, especially those with non-prime credit profiles.

James Tew, CEO of iVendi, said: “It’s important that our new platform is used by a wide variety of lenders to offer a genuine choice of risk appetite for dealers and their customers, so we’re very pleased to see First Response using this channel.

“We’ve been working with the business since 2016 and know they provide a crucial option for people with less-than-perfect credit scores who want or need to buy a car, bike, or van.”
