Technology Sponsored by Technology European Startup Prize for Mobility announces 50 finalists in 2020 Published: 10th June 2020 Share The European Startup Prize for Mobility (EUSP), an accelerator scheme for startups focused on developing sustainable mobility innovations, has revealed the names of the 50 finalists in its latest programme. This year’s launch initially received 550 applications from across Europe, and the organisation’s panel of 50 evaluators proceeded to whittle the list down, with the results giving an overview of the future of mobility. The EUSP is a joint venture run by the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID that invites mobility startups from around Europe to submit ideas for the future of transport. The organisation aims to bring together Europe’s best startups who hold the promise for new, green, connected, inclusive and sustainable technology in all mobility sectors. The final will be hosted Paris at the end of the year, delayed initially due to the pandemic, with the opportunity to showcase the 10 best startups. European Startup Prize for Mobility – The 50 finalists are: AC Biode Standalone AC batteries and electric circuits for e-mobility and energy storage. AddVolt A system that electrifies refrigeration units allowing cleaner, quieter and cost-effective deliveries.. Autofleet Vehicle-as-a-Service platform for fleets, enabling them to optimize operations and leverage unused vehicles. BaseTracK Provides up to 20% of fuel economy, safe public transport and affordable autonomous driving. Bluedot Connects all charging stations into a single network, enabling owners to share and monetize them. BusUp Allows travellers to book on-demand buses for commuting. Solves medium-distance travel in suburban and exurban areas. Caaresys CabinCaare® counts the number of the passengers in the cabin providing cost reduction and efficiency. CARGOMETER Measures, weighs and scans the barcode of freight at the loading gate on the moving forklift, increasing profit. Chargery Combines software and a variety of services to enable efficient operations for shared mobility.
