Haydock Finance appoints Laura Kinghorn as Head of Broker

Haydock Finance has appointed Laura Kinghorn as Head of Broker, strengthening its broker leadership team as the asset finance provider builds on the recent milestone of reaching £1bn in its lending book.

Kinghorn brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development and financial services, having held senior positions at Funding Circle and TSB, as well as her most recent role at Propel Finance.

In her new position, she will lead Haydock’s broker team, focusing on strengthening existing partnerships, developing the lender’s broker proposition and supporting the next phase of business growth.

The appointment follows a period of expansion for Haydock, which has continued to invest in its broker relationships and service offering alongside growth in its lending portfolio.

Kinghorn commented: “Haydock has built a brilliant reputation in the broker market, and that’s testament to its people, relationships and commitment to service over the years. Having recently reached the £1 billion mark in its lending book, it’s an exciting time to be joining the business and leading the broker team into its next chapter.

“What has particularly impressed me in my first few weeks is the strength of our appetite to lend and the determination across the business to find solutions and make deals happen. I’ve seen firsthand the commitment from our Sales, Credit and Operations teams to deliver for brokers, with the pace and commercial approach that makes a real difference to our brokers and their customers.”

Kinghorn said her priorities would include building on Haydock’s existing broker relationships and ensuring its lending proposition continues to meet the changing needs of intermediaries and their SME clients.

“Having worked closely with brokers for many years, I understand just how important it is to have a lender that listens, and delivers. For me, it’s about building on what already works, investing in our people, relationships and continuing to evolve our proposition around the needs of our brokers and their SME clients.”
