CSI Leasing, Inc. (CSI), one of the world’s largest independent equipment leasing companies, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Aeroservicios USA, Inc., a Miami-based leader in the ground support equipment (GSE) industry for nearly 30 years.

Founded in 1996 by Gabriel Serrano and his father, Aeroservicios has built a strong reputation for reconditioning, overhauling, and supplying high-quality new and used GSE to airlines, cargo operators, and ground handlers. The company will continue to operate under Serrano’s leadership, with its headquarters and facilities remaining in Miami and Guatemala.

The acquisition significantly enhances CSI’s capabilities in the GSE sector, where the company has been leasing new and used equipment for nearly a decade. By combining CSI’s global leasing expertise with Aeroservicios’ deep understanding of GSE refurbishment and remarketing, the partnership will deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for customers.

Aeroservicios will now handle refurbishment and resale of CSI’s off-lease GSE, helping CSI provide more competitive pricing, broader inventory, and flexible financing structures to support the operational needs of ground support handlers, commercial airlines, cargo carriers, and other aviation specialists.

“CSI has been leasing new and used GSE for nearly 10 years. Aeroservicios’ robust refurbishing experience and vast understanding of the GSE market will allow CSI to offer more competitive lease pricing and additional services to its customers,” said Steve Hamilton, chairman and CEO of CSI Leasing.

“Under Gabriel’s leadership, Aeroservicios has built an exceptional reputation throughout the industry, and this combination will greatly enhance CSI’s strategy in the GSE market.”

Aeroservicios currently operates two full shops and a storage yard in Miami totalling 579,600 sq. ft., along with a 19,000 sq. ft. full shop in Guatemala. The company specialises in a wide range of equipment, including baggage carts and tractors, loaders, catering trucks, dollies, forklifts, lavatory carts, passenger stairs, tow bars, and utility vehicles, as well as new and used parts from leading manufacturers.

By integrating Aeroservicios’ infrastructure with CSI’s global presence, the combined organisation will provide customers with a one-stop solution for sourcing, refurbishing, financing, and leasing GSE worldwide.

“I’m thrilled for Aeroservicios to join the CSI family and its growing team,” said Gabriel Serrano, founder and CEO of Aeroservicios. “CSI’s reputation, along with its global footprint, is unmatched in the leasing industry. Aeroservicios’ GSE expertise, combined with CSI’s leasing and financing expertise will give customers a one-stop GSE solution. Our services align very well and will be an excellent benefit to both new and existing customers.”
