The Leasing Foundation has announced that Acquis will sponsor its NextGeneration Network for 2025–2026, strengthening efforts to support early-career professionals across the asset finance industry.

The NextGeneration Network aims to make business finance a sector where young people can build long, rewarding careers. Alongside its informal networking events, the group runs the 30 Under 30 Index – now in its fifth year – and the Industry Insights programme, which gives emerging talent the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders, learn about key roles and gain practical career advice. The network also partners with Finance Connect to offer young professionals discounted access to major industry conferences.

With Acquis’ backing, the Leasing Foundation plans to expand its events and continue building an open, inclusive community for future leaders in the sector.

Ylva Oertengren, chair of the Leasing Foundation, said: “The next generation is key to the future strength of our industry.

“Acquis’ support allows us to grow the reach of our work and give young people more chances to learn, meet and feel part of something bigger.”

James Rudolf, chief commercial officer at Acquis, commented: “Backing the next wave of talent is vital for the health of our sector.

“We’re proud to support the Leasing Foundation’s work in helping young professionals gain the confidence, contacts and knowledge that will shape their careers.”

Alex McWilliams, director of the Leasing Foundation and co-lead for the NextGeneration Network, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Acquis as our sponsor.

“With its support we can reach more young people, host more events and keep building a strong and open community for the next generation in asset finance.”
