The functionality enables lessors to set notifications against a company registration number, with Lumia monitoring changes in the organisation’s overall recorded asset finance exposure and the number of lenders associated with it. When a threshold configured by the lessor is reached, the platform sends an automated email to selected recipients. Acquis said this is intended to help lenders identify material changes in exposure after a lending decision has been made without repeatedly checking individual company records. Notifications are private to each organisation and are not visible to other contributors using the platform. Joanne Thorn, country manager at Acquis Data Services, said: “‘Activity notifications’ has been developed to give lessors greater visibility of a customer’s asset finance activity, after a lending decision has been made. “By providing this type of visibility on the platform, Lumia can help its customers stay informed and take action when it matters.” Launched in 2022, Lumia is a collaborative market intelligence platform used by asset finance providers for areas including fraud detection, portfolio monitoring and market insight. Acquis said 41 customers are now signed up to Lumia, providing visibility across £32 billion of asset finance agreements.
