Stellantis has appointed Joël Verany to lead its combined B2B and pre-owned vehicle businesses across Europe, bringing both operations under a single leadership structure as part of a reorganisation of its Enlarged Europe Commercial Operations division.

The changes, effective immediately, will see Verany oversee the integrated business, reporting directly to Maurizio Zuares, Head of Commercial Operations Enlarged Europe.

Ana Theresa Borsari will report to Verany and continue to lead the development of Stellantis’ pre-owned vehicle business.

The new structure brings together responsibility for approximately 1.7 million vehicle sales annually across the region, creating a more coordinated approach to managing vehicles throughout their lifecycle, from initial fleet sales through to resale.

Stellantis said the reorganisation is designed to improve alignment between its B2B sales and pre-owned vehicle operations, supporting a more integrated commercial strategy across European markets.

By bringing the two businesses together, the automotive group aims to generate efficiencies in residual value management, total cost of ownership, vehicle buy-back arrangements, remarketing, pricing and logistics.

The changes are also intended to strengthen the company’s ability to serve fleet operators and other professional customers, while developing specialist expertise at both European and individual market levels.

Maurizio Zuares, Head of Commercial Operations Enlarged Europe at Stellantis, said: “This is a natural next step for our European operations. Combining the complementary expertise of B2B and Pre-Owned will help us manage vehicle value more consistently and respond with greater agility.

“These benefits will be key to sustain profitable growth as the market evolves.”

The integration reflects the importance of managing vehicle values throughout the ownership cycle, particularly for fleet customers and leasing providers, where residual values and total cost of ownership are central to funding and purchasing decisions.

Stellantis said the new structure will establish clearer accountability across its European B2B and pre-owned activities, supporting a consistent approach to vehicle value management and commercial growth.
