Community AFPA Trust Summer Drinks raises £10,000 for ANDYSMANCLUB Published: 6th July 2026 Share The All Finance Professionals Association (AFPA) Trust has raised an impressive £10,000 for men’s mental health charity ANDYSMANCLUB during its annual Summer Networking Drinks, bringing together professionals from across the finance industry for an afternoon of networking and fundraising. Held on Thursday 2 July at the Kitty Hawk rooftop bar in London, the event welcomed industry professionals for drinks and canapés overlooking the capital, with all fundraising proceeds dedicated to ANDYSMANCLUB as the event’s chosen charity partner. The £10,000 total was achieved through the generosity of attendees, who supported the cause through a raffle and a competitive charity auction. The fundraising success comes during a milestone year for ANDYSMANCLUB, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026. Lucas Whitehead, Head of Partnerships at ANDYSMANCLUB, said: “ANDYSMANCLUB are blown away by the support and generosity offered to us by the AFPA Trust at their Summer Drinks reception. As a purely donation-led charity, sizeable donations like these are our lifeblood and will enable us to continue in our mission to reduce the rate of male suicide, by directly funding the opening and running of new ANDYSMANCLUB locations nationwide. “In 2026, we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of our founding, and the generosity of our supporters has seen us open 357 talking groups, run countless events and create a community far beyond what we believed was possible. Thank you to AFPA Trust for helping us on the charge towards the next 10 years!” Robert Taylor, Co-Chair of AFPA Trust, said the level of support demonstrated the strength and generosity of the asset finance community. “Our Summer Drinks is always a highlight in the AFPA Trust calendar, but the energy at the Kitty Hawk was brilliant. To raise £10,000 in a single afternoon says a lot about the community spirit and genuine generosity of the people in our industry,” he said. “We chose to back ANDYSMANCLUB for this event because the work they do to break down stigmas and support men in crisis is incredibly vital. Knowing that this money will directly fund new talking groups nationwide during their landmark tenth anniversary year makes the effort completely worthwhile. “A massive thank you to everyone who showed up, bid generously, and made the afternoon such a success. We are incredibly grateful to our Charity Partners, event sponsors, AFPA Trust members, and all the attendees who contributed to making this event a triumph.”Top of Form Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories CommunityLeasing Foundation leads asset finance industry return to London Pride Corporate Member CommunityNorthridge Finance joins Finance Connect as newest corporate member CommunityFinance Connect Podcast: Peter Englev on doing business in the Nordics
