PMD Business Finance appoints Jonny Kirkham to board of directors

Kirkham joined PMD as Operations Manager before being promoted to Operations Director in 2022. Since then, he has played a leading role in developing the company’s operational framework, governance processes and customer service functions.

As Operations Director, Kirkham oversees operational activity across the business, including customer service, complaints handling, recruitment, training and regulatory compliance. He is also responsible for operational governance, policies and procedures, and the firm’s CRM and systems strategy.

His appointment to the board follows a career spanning customer service, compliance and regulated financial services. Before joining PMD, Kirkham served as Head of Customer Experience at CarFinance 247, where he managed customer service operations and complaints handling within an FCA-regulated environment.

Earlier roles included positions in compliance and screening at Reed Recruitment and nine years at Sage, where he led customer service and technical support teams.

Commenting on his appointment, Kirkham said: “I’m incredibly proud to be joining the Board at PMD. It’s been a fantastic journey so far, and I feel privileged to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team.

“I’m excited to continue building on the strong operational foundations we’ve established and to help support the business as it grows.”
