Appointments Sponsored by Appointments Wesleyan Bank appoints new director of sales and marketing Published: 26th February 2018 Share Wesleyan Bank, a specialist provider of commercial and personal finance solutions, has appointed Simon Welling as director of sales and marketing. He joins from Paragon Asset Finance and will report to Wesleyan’s chief executive, Steve Deutsch. Welling brings more than 30 years’ banking experience to the role, having held senior sales, project management and customer advisory positions nationally and internationally. He previously spent more than 20 years at Lombard Business Finance in a number of roles including head of major corporate asset finance and regional indirect sales director. At Wesleyan Bank, Welling will lead direct and indirect sales and marketing activities while overseeing the introduction of new products and value-added services to the bank’s customers. Wesleyan Bank provides tailored finance solutions to UK SMEs, professions and IT vendors and resellers. It is a subsidiary of specialist financial services mutual Wesleyan Assurance Society, which has more than £7 billion of assets under management. Deutsch said: “Simon will play an instrumental role in the development and delivery of a fully-integrated sales and marketing strategy for the business.
