United Trust Bank (UTB) has completed a £360,000 interest-only asset finance facility to support a long-standing customer in the acquisition of a classic 1930s Bentley, taking the customer’s total borrowing with the bank to more than £1m.

The transaction was introduced by Apollo Capital Group, a specialist broker focused on luxury, classic and supercar finance, with whom UTB has developed a long-standing relationship.

UTB underwriters Giles Hussey and Oliver Hobday structured the facility using their specialist expertise in classic and high-value vehicle finance, supporting the customer’s latest acquisition as part of a relationship spanning more than 20 years.

Apollo Capital Group provides tailored finance solutions for high-value and specialist vehicles, working with clients across the luxury, classic and supercar markets.

David Moss, director at Apollo Capital Group – Luxury & Supercar Finance, said: “The key to this smooth completion was the confidence inspired by the expertise and specialist knowledge of underwriters Giles Hussey and Oliver Hobday, combined with the exceptional support from BDM Kerry Pickering. Kerry’s proactive approach ensured a stress-free process.”

Kerry Pickering, broker development manager at United Trust Bank, said: “This transaction is a great example of the strength of our relationship with Apollo and the value of working closely with experienced specialist brokers.
