Finance Connect Podcast: Alfa’s Brian Murphy on AI in equipment finance

Murphy explains how the tool is helping accelerate implementation projects by supporting both functional and technical queries, while also reducing the burden on consultants and solution architects.

The podcast also examines how AI coding assistants are changing the speed of development and integration work across the industry. Murphy highlights how tasks that previously took weeks can now often be completed in days, dramatically accelerating project delivery timelines.

Murphy also rejects suggestions of a so-called “SaaSpocalypse” for specialist software providers, arguing that complex, domain-specific platforms such as Alfa Systems cannot simply be replicated through generative AI tools alone.
