Senior Relationship Manager – Central Southern England & South West, Transport Asset Finance – 2895

Salary up to £90,000 , on target earnings are a further 55% of base salary with bonuses payable quarterly but with potential to earn up to 500% of base salary. Plus all usual large company benefits including a company car and a generous contributory pension.

Our client a leading asset financier for whom we have placed over 50 staff since 2000 are seeking an additional Senior Relationship Manager to join their highly successful transport asset focused sales team.

Your role is to identify and prospect for new direct or dealer driven business typically in the SME & SMB space and across a sales area of central Southern England & South West England .

Targets are very reasonable and reflect the strong new business nature of the role. Typically £8m at this salary level.

You will be expected to largely self source your own business but will be supported by management.

Candidate Profile

To apply you should ideally live on the sales area ideally anywhere from Oxford , Swindon , Bristol to Exeter but those off the above area with customers to re-leverage will be actively considered.

Given the seniority of this position you must have a background in direct driven asset finance where you have personal experience of negotiating and closing deals.

Those with experience gained in vendor finance in hard assets will be considered providing you can evidence deal closing experience and you possess the ability to transition to a role where you largely self source your business rather than it being introduced to you.

Those with experience of financing transport assets ( HGV’s , trailers , LCV’s ) are of particular interest but our clients are pragmatists , those with any hard asset direct asset finance background who possess the requisite new business experience and drive we will actively consider.

If you are a self employed asset finance lease broker and with would like to re join the employed sector and spend more time selling and have the potential to bring your customers with you we are particularly interested in talking with you.

Whatever your background we are seeking genuine new business hunters who have the skills to cold call and canvass and close.

We are also seeking also those that do not need to be the cheapest on price to succeed , after all you don’t earn £130,000 a year by selling out at 50BPS over your cost of funds !
