RVI Group promotes Wei Fan to Chief Operating Officer

RVI Group, a specialty insurance provider, has announced the promotion of Wei Fan to Chief Operating Officer (COO).

With more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, Fan brings extensive expertise and a proven track record of driving business growth and innovation. Since joining RVI Group in 2007, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategy and expanding its global presence.

During his tenure, Fan successfully led the Quantitative Analysis and Passenger Vehicle teams, growing RVI’s passenger vehicle residual value insurance business beyond its longstanding North American platform into China, Australia, and the United Kingdom. His leadership, work ethic, and analytical insight have been instrumental in strengthening RVI’s market position.

In his new role as COO, Fan will continue to oversee his existing responsibilities while taking on a broader remit, including leading RVI’s efforts to provide credit solutions for its insureds and helping to develop business strategy to support the company’s continued growth.
