Propel partners with Sync to fund Apple technology for SMEs

Share

Propel Finance has partnered with Apple Business Partner Sync to provide finance to UK SMEs investing in Apple products, as the lender continues to expand its digital embedded finance offering in the UK.

Under the partnership, Propel’s embedded finance platform will integrate with Sync’s digital platform, enabling businesses to access finance at the point of sale both online and in person.

SMEs purchasing products including Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch, as well as accessories, will be able to access finance during the purchasing process. The proposition will also offer line-level finance, allowing businesses to finance multiple products within a single basket.

Funding will be available through monthly payments over terms ranging from 12 to 48 months, with no fees and real-time application decisions. Customers will also have access to credit for future device purchases.

The proposition includes equipment add-ons and upgrades alongside end-of-term trade-in and certified recycling options. Propel said the lifecycle management elements are intended to help businesses manage their technology requirements while supporting wider sustainability objectives.

Sync will manage device configuration, distribution and support as part of the programme. The Apple Business Partner provides nationwide coverage and supports hundreds of thousands of Apple devices for customers across the UK.

Hannah Billington, Director at Sync, said: “This collaboration gives businesses simpler access to the technology they need to grow. By combining flexible finance with lifecycle and sustainability services, we are making it easier and more efficient for businesses to invest in digital capability.”

The partnership forms part of Propel Finance’s continued expansion of its B2B embedded finance capabilities, allowing finance to be integrated directly into suppliers’ purchasing journeys.
