His appointment follows NETSOL’s continued expansion in the US market, including BMO Equipment Finance’s decision to upgrade from LeasePak to Transcend Finance. The company is focusing on transitioning its existing North American customers to the newer platform while securing new business from lenders seeking integrated origination and servicing technology. Ramsey brings more than 30 years of experience in enterprise software sales, solution consulting and strategic partnerships, specialising in asset finance across leasing, loans, rental, fleet and equipment finance. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Sales and Solutions at FIT-Global, an SAP-certified partner, where he led international sales and pre-sales teams supporting enterprise transformation programmes. Previously, Ramsey was Senior Director of Sales and Alliances at Odessa Technologies, where he established seven strategic partnerships. He also held senior positions at LeaseAccelerator, SAP America and Oracle Corporation. Faizaan Ghauri, President of NETSOL Technologies Americas, said: “The US is the largest asset finance market in the world and we are investing aggressively in it. “Michael has sold into this market, built alliances across it and delivered for large lenders for more than three decades. He will lead our U.S. sales effort for Transcend Finance, working with our existing LeasePak customers on their upgrade path and with new lenders who want a single platform for origination and servicing.” Commenting on his appointment, Ramsey said: “The asset finance industry is at a turning point and NETSOL is one of very few companies with the platform, the domain depth and the customer relationships to lead it. “Transcend Finance gives lenders the modern, connected foundation they need to move beyond legacy systems. I look forward to working with the team to build on NETSOL’s momentum in the US and to deliver measurable outcomes for our customers.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories AppointmentsCenteca appoints Jesper With-Fogstrup as Group CEO Corporate Member AppointmentsEconocom appoints two new Board Directors Corporate Member AppointmentsTime Finance appoints Sarah Rishworth as Relationship Manager
