J3642 – Broker Manager – UK, Reading (Hybrid) – Asset Finance

£40,000 – £50,000 basic, up to 30% bonus and excellent benefits.

Location: UK, Reading (Hybrid), typically 2-3 days per week in the office during collaboration weeks.

New Leaf Search is partnering with a specialist UK financial services organisation in its search for a Broker Manager.

This is an opportunity to manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 20-30 Asset Finance broker relationships across Southern UK, predominantly supporting hard asset transactions.

The role combines broker relationship management with credit submission preparation, pipeline management and transaction administration. You will act as a key link between brokers and internal Credit, Operations and Onboarding teams, helping deliver responsive service and efficiently progress new business through to payout.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage and develop day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of Asset Finance brokers.
• Act as a primary point of contact between brokers and Credit, Operations and Onboarding teams.
• Analyse and prepare credit submissions for approval.
• Manage the new business pipeline across the allocated broker panel.
• Prepare and progress administration and documentation relating to new business transactions.
• Evaluate financial accounts accurately and communicate credit decisions effectively.
• Build strong relationships across Sales, Credit and Operations.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the assets being financed.
• Prioritise workload effectively while maintaining high standards of broker service.
• Represent the business at relevant customer, broker and industry events.
• Contribute to the wider sales team and achievement of business targets.

Person Specification:

• Asset Finance sales experience, ideally within a broker-facing role.
• Strong understanding of the broker market and Asset Finance sales process.
• Good financial and commercial awareness with the ability to understand financial accounts.
• Excellent administration and time management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building capability.
• Able to manage a busy workload and work effectively to tight deadlines.
• Confident communicating decisions to brokers and other stakeholders.
• Comfortable with the administrative requirements associated with managing proposals and transactions.
• Self-motivated, accountable and results orientated.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
