J3657 – Senior Account Manager – Spain, Madrid (Remote) – Asset Finance

Location: Spain, Madrid (Remote), with responsibility across Iberia, Italy, Israel & UAE.

New Leaf Search is partnering with a leading global technology finance organisation in its search for a Senior Account Manager.

This is a senior commercial role focused on developing Enterprise Networking business across an international territory, managing a portfolio of approximately 25-30 large customers across Telco, Public Sector and Large Enterprise markets.

You will manage a combination of established finance relationships and significant new business opportunities, working with customers and partners to understand their commercial and technology requirements and deliver appropriate financing solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop growth opportunities through structured account planning and regular customer reviews.
• Manage and grow relationships with major customers across the territory.
• Develop new business from organisations with significant technology spend that are not currently using finance solutions.
• Work extensively with external partners to develop and deliver financing opportunities.
• Build relationships with senior management and executive-level stakeholders.
• Use consultative sales techniques to identify and convert opportunities that generate profitable revenue growth.
• Develop business plans in conjunction with customers.
• Manage quarterly, half-yearly and annual sales and margin objectives.
• Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline and apply effective pipeline management disciplines.
• Act as a key interface for international accounts, collaborating with global and local teams.
• Manage complex opportunities through the complete sales cycle, including negotiation and deal closure.

Person Specification:

• Extensive experience within IT Finance, Technology Finance, Vendor Finance or Asset Finance.
• Strong knowledge of the Enterprise Networking market would be highly advantageous.
• Typically 8-12 years’ relevant commercial experience.
• Proven experience managing major customers and complex sales opportunities.
• Strong account development and new business skills.
• Excellent executive-level relationship management capability.
• Advanced sales negotiation and deal closing skills.
• Experience managing end-to-end sales processes for large and complex transactions.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Able to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders across different markets.
• Fluent English and Spanish are essential.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant IN-COUNTRY experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
