Harris MAXUS UK strengthens fleet operations with key appointment

Harris Group has announced the appointment of Sean Smith as Head of Fleet for MAXUS UK, a newly created role to strengthen the company’s UK fleet operations.

The move establishes a dedicated fleet function within Harris MAXUS UK for the first time, signalling a renewed focus on the commercial vehicle sector. Smith, who brings 20 years of automotive industry experience, will lead the division and oversee a newly appointed team of three Regional Fleet Sales Managers tasked with delivering nationwide fleet support.

Smith’s career spans senior roles at major manufacturers and dealer groups, with franchise experience including Nissan, Isuzu and Renault. His expertise also extends into vehicle testing and development, having spent six years at Horiba MIRA, providing him with deep technical insight into the commercial vehicle lifecycle.

Under his leadership, Harris MAXUS UK has already implemented a nationwide organisational restructure, ensuring both large fleets and SMEs receive tailored service through centralised support and stronger dealer partnerships.
