DF Capital partners with Fleet Auction Group

DF Capital has announced a new partnership with The Fleet Auction Group and its sister company Protruck Auctions, giving vehicle dealers access to flexible stock funding to support purchases made through the auctioneer’s sales channels.

The specialist bank, which provides financial solutions for manufacturers, dealers and distributors across the UK, said the partnership is designed to make it easier for dealers to acquire stock, manage cash flow and scale their businesses. Dealers purchasing vehicles and equipment through The Fleet Auction Group or Protruck Auctions will now be able to access DF Capital’s stock funding facility directly through the auction platform.

The Fleet Auction Group is a national organisation specialising in vehicle defleet, refurbishment and remarketing, offering services including pre-delivery inspection (PDI), storage, in-life support and multi-channel remarketing. The auctioneer handles a wide range of assets, including motorcycles, cars, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs), heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), as well as agricultural, construction and material handling equipment.

Under the new arrangement, dealers can fund up to 100% of the hammer price, including auction and delivery fees, with no capital repayments required for up to 91 days. Funding is available for both new and used assets, whether registered or unregistered, for periods of up to 360 days.

As part of the partnership, DF Capital’s funding system has been integrated with The Fleet Auction Group’s auction platform, allowing approved buyers to request finance directly as part of the purchasing process. The integration is intended to streamline transactions and reduce friction for dealers operating in fast-moving auction environments.
