ConnectedFi appoints James Hunt as VP Strategy & Operations

ConnectedFi has appointed James Hunt as Vice-President of Strategy & Operations to support its next phase of growth in the UK.

The specialist API platform, which connects asset finance brokers and funders to improve decision-making speed and operational efficiency, said Hunt’s initial focus will be on helping existing lenders and brokers transition to its latest generation of technology. The company aims to increase both adoption rates and productivity gains for its users.

Hunt joins with experience in scaling private equity-backed international business operations. This background is valuable to ConnectedFi as it rolls out new features in the UK, including tools that allow lenders to manage multi-product journeys within one portal, AI-enabled document processing and review, automated decisioning, broker updates, pre-populated forms, e-signatures, and embedded point-of-sale lending. Compliance processes are built into the proposal workflow to align with lenders’ internal standards.

ConnectedFi’s broker-to-lender integration platform is currently used by more than 200 UK brokers. It has also developed proposal management systems for large brokers and recently expanded into front and middle-office tooling for lenders.

CEO Kaushik Chakravarti said Hunt’s appointment “marks a step-change in our UK activity” and credited his “relationship management skills, ability to scale organisations and can-do attitude” with already improving services for brokers and lenders.
