The CHG-MERIDIAN Group has been awarded the Platinum Medal in the latest EcoVadis sustainability rating, placing the company among the top 1% of more than 130,000 companies assessed globally.

Building on its Gold Medal achievement in 2024, CHG-MERIDIAN improved its overall score by 10 points to 86, earning the highest possible distinction – Platinum. The company received particularly strong ratings in the categories of Environment and Business Ethics, highlighting its ongoing commitment to sustainable operations and responsible corporate governance.

A major driver behind this improved performance was the expansion of ISO certifications across all European locations in December 2024, which has now been reflected in the EcoVadis assessment. Management systems in the areas of Environment (ISO 14001), Information Security (ISO 27001), Data Protection (ISO 27701), and Business Continuity (ISO 22301) are now valid across Europe.

Additionally, the company’s Compliance Management System (ISO 37301) was certified for the first time in the DACH region.

Combined with extensive global training initiatives, these measures have strengthened CHG-MERIDIAN’s international competitiveness and reinforced its commitment to quality and sustainability.

CHG-MERIDIAN continues to pursue an integrated sustainability strategy, incorporating ISO-certified management systems, transparent reporting, climate management aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and comprehensive health and safety measures. These initiatives aim to ensure that sustainability is embedded into every aspect of the company’s operations.

“The award of the EcoVadis Platinum Medal is a strong recognition of our continuous efforts to improve processes and standards across the organisation,” said Mathias Wagner, CEO of the CHG-MERIDIAN Group.

“It strengthens our position in the market and builds additional trust with our customers and partners. The Platinum rating is a great motivation for us to consistently pursue this path.”
