Auxillias appoints David Blake as head of compliance advisory

Auxillias has appointed governance and risk specialist David Blake as its new head of compliance advisory, strengthening the firm’s senior leadership as financial services companies face increasing pressure for practical, expert regulatory guidance.

Blake is widely regarded across the motor, asset and consumer finance sectors for his deep experience in governance, risk and compliance. Over his career, he has designed and led major compliance, risk and assurance frameworks, advised board executives on governance effectiveness and conduct, and steered large-scale programmes covering Consumer Duty, culture, and systems and controls.

He has also supported firms under regulatory scrutiny, helping guide remediation efforts, supervisory engagement and enforcement matters with an emphasis on sustainable, long-term improvement. A Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management, Blake combines strategic insight with hands-on delivery and has twice received the Global Advisory Experts GRC Consultancy Award.
