Willis brings more than three decades of international leadership experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Over his career, he has led major automotive and mobility organisations through periods of transformation, operational restructuring, and expansion. Most recently, Willis served as Chief Executive of Al-Futtaim Automotive, where he oversaw 11,000 employees and 18 business units across multiple markets. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles across some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, including Volkswagen Group, as well as positions with BMW, Ford Motor Company, Mazda, Toyota and Kia Motors Europe. He also held leadership roles within Volkswagen Group’s China operations, giving him extensive insight into global automotive ecosystems. Peter Grøftehauge, CEO and owner of Autorola Group, said Willis’ appointment reflects the company’s ambition to strengthen its international footprint. “Paul Willis brings exceptional operational depth and strategic perspective to Autorola Group,” he said. “His experience leading large-scale transformation and strengthening international operations aligns closely with our ambition to accelerate global growth.” Eyal Steinitz, Chairman of the Board, added that Willis’ global leadership background would be instrumental as the company expands across both mature and emerging markets. “His international leadership experience will add valuable perspective as Autorola continues to scale its global platforms,” Steinitz said.
