Fleet Finance Sponsored by Fleet Finance News Asset Alliance Group powers LandFlight’s fleet growth Published: 11th February 2026 Share Growing passenger transport operator LandFlight Travel Services has strengthened its fleet with a new Yutong GT-12 executive coach, supplied by Asset Alliance Group to support an extended corporate commuting contract. The 53-seat + 1, PSVAR-compliant coach has been taken on a seven-year hire purchase agreement and joins ten Alexander Dennis single-deck service buses previously supplied to the Solihull-based business by the vehicle finance specialist. Trevor Baker, General Manager at LandFlight Travel Services, said: “We started dealing with Asset Alliance Group just after the last Covid lockdown, and we’ve never looked back. “It’s vital that we get new vehicles in on time so that we can prep them ahead of the start of their respective contracts, and they have never let us down,” he said. Powered by a PACCAR MX-11 450hp engine and running on ZF axles with air suspension and Michelin 295/80 R22.5 tyres, the new Yutong will be used exclusively on a local corporate commuting contract. The hire purchase structure allows LandFlight to spread the cost in a tax-efficient way while retaining in-house control of maintenance. For its scheduled service work, LandFlight continues to favour rental agreements, reflecting the shorter-term nature of local authority contracts. The operator is set to take delivery of four more buses this year – covering both fleet additions and renewals – on the same terms. The account is managed by Paul Fairbanks, Business Development Manager for Coach and Bus at Asset Alliance Group, covering Wales and the Midlands. LandFlight Travel Services operates a 45-strong fleet with 80 staff, providing 24/7 airport and executive travel, private hire, home-to-work transport and scheduled bus services. The new Yutong’s livery was applied by local specialist Baker Ward.
