Alfa named Tech Business of the Year at plc awards

Alfa Financial Software, a provider of enterprise software to the asset, equipment and automotive finance industries and a member of the FTSE 250, has been named Tech Business of the Year at the 2025 plc awards.

The award recognises publicly listed technology companies that drive economic growth and deliver commercial success through innovation. Judges assess long-term growth potential, strategic execution, market recognition and adherence to environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practices.

Alfa was recognised for its continued innovation in enterprise software for the global asset finance industry, particularly through its cloud-first platform, Alfa Systems. The platform enables finance providers to modernise, transform and scale their operations using flexible, extensible technology designed to support evolving financing models. The company’s sustained ESG performance was also highlighted as part of the judging process.

Andrew Denton, CEO of Alfa, collected the award on behalf of the company. “I was very proud to accept this award on behalf of the entire Alfa team this evening,” he said.

“Having great technology needs to effect change, and this is another validation that shows we’re doing the right things.”

The Tech Business of the Year category was introduced to spotlight technology companies reshaping industries and enabling new ways of working, communicating and conducting business. Winners are required to demonstrate strong financial and commercial performance, robust governance frameworks and sustainable long-term growth prospects, alongside clear ESG integration into strategy and decision-making.
