People AFPA Trust Festive Drinks raises record £11,850 for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund Published: 5th December 2025 Share The AFPA Trust’s annual Festive Drinks, held on Weddnesday at Kitty Hawk, 8 St Martin’s Place, London, brought together professionals from across the asset finance community for an afternoon of festive spirit, networking, carol singing, and charitable giving. This year’s event marked a milestone, raising a record-breaking £11,850 for the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. For thirty years, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund has been a lifeline for families navigating the trauma and uncertainty of childhood cancer. The charity provides emotional, financial, and practical support to help lighten the load during the most challenging moments of a family’s life. Lindsay Bidwell, representing Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, attended the event and accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity. Sharing gratitude on behalf of the organisation, she said: “We are incredibly grateful to the AFPA Trust and everyone who contributed to this wonderful event. Donations like these allow us to continue being there for families when they need us most. The warmth and generosity shown today truly embodies the spirit of the season.” The total raised was boosted by a generous gesture from Rishi Sha of Rivers Finance, who donated his £1,000 AFPA Trust Members Draw winnings directly to the charity, helping push the event to its highest-ever fundraising total. Guests enjoyed a lively afternoon featuring a raffle and auction, with a variety of unique prizes and one-of-a-kind experiences generously donated by sponsors. The celebrations were accompanied by exceptional live entertainment from pianist Alberto L. Ferro, whose performance added to the event’s festive ambiance.
