Time Finance raises £8,500 for RNLI through charity fundraising

Independent SME lender Time Finance has raised £8,500 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) following a year of fundraising activities, including its second annual charity five-a-side football tournament.

Held at Powerleague in Manchester, the tournament brought together brokers and industry partners from across the UK for an afternoon of football, networking and fundraising in support of the lifesaving charity.

Building on the success of its inaugural tournament in 2024, the event attracted increased support from the finance community, contributing to the overall fundraising total.

Alongside the football tournament, Time Finance employees across the UK participated in a range of fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

The RNLI was selected as the company’s charity partner because of its personal significance to the team, following the passing of a much-loved colleague who had a close connection to the organisation.

The RNLI relies on voluntary donations to fund its lifesaving services, with the majority of its lifeboat crews made up of volunteers who remain on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Time Finance said the fundraising initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting charitable causes that are important to its employees and local communities, while bringing together businesses and professionals from across the finance industry.
