eCapital UK has surpassed £3bn in invoices funded on a rolling 12-month basis for the first time, as the specialist finance provider expands its headquarters in Reading.

The milestone comes as eCapital relocates its head office and Southern regional headquarters to larger premises in Reading, providing additional capacity for its operations across the South of England.

Over the past three years, eCapital has increased the number of clients it supports by more than 32% to over 1,500 businesses nationwide. The lender has also expanded its funding capability, with facilities of up to £10m now available to SMEs and mid-market businesses.

eCapital provides invoice finance and asset-based lending (ABL) solutions, with the business reporting increased demand from companies seeking working capital to support investment and expansion or manage cash flow amid challenging economic conditions.

Mark Finn, Chief Revenue Officer at eCapital UK, said: “Reading is one of the UK’s leading commercial centres and continues to play an important role in our long-term growth strategy.

“This move represents a significant investment in our Southern and HQ operation and underlines our commitment to supporting businesses, introducers and advisers across the region. The new office provides a modern, collaborative environment for our team and creates a strong platform from which to continue delivering exceptional client service and sustainable growth.”

Commenting on the funding milestone, Finn added: “Reaching more than £3 billion of invoices factored is a significant achievement for eCapital and reflects the strength of the relationships we have built with businesses and introducers across the UK.

“It also demonstrates the continued demand for flexible working capital solutions as businesses look to invest, expand and build resilience.”

The company said its growth has been supported by increased funding capacity and the development of its invoice finance and ABL offering across a range of sectors.

Mike Harrison, Regional Managing Director (South) at eCapital UK, said: “This move is an exciting achievement for our Reading team and underlines the strength of our presence across the South.

“We have built strong relationships in the region by focusing on what matters most to our clients and introducers – delivering responsive support, commercial expertise and funding solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions.

“Reading has always been an important location for us, and our new office provides a fantastic environment for our team while creating the capacity to support our future plans.”
