Momenta Finance provides £150,000 for visitor attraction expansion

Momenta Finance has provided a £150,000 unsecured business loan to support the expansion and refurbishment of a family-run dairy farm and visitor attraction in the South East of England.

The 48-month facility will fund improvements to the business’s existing mini golf attraction and the introduction of a new slip-and-slide facility.

The funding includes a four-month interest-only period, allowing the business to complete the planned work and begin generating income from the new facilities before capital repayments start.

The client operates a dairy farm alongside a visitor attraction, producing handmade gelato and sorbets using milk from its own herd and offering a range of family and seasonal activities.

The facility was introduced by Sam Greasley, Managing Director at Musters Finance Limited (AFS UK), and arranged with Ronan Carter, Business Development Manager at Momenta Finance.

Greasley said the interest-only period was an important part of the funding structure.

He said: “Agreeing an initial interest-only period allows the customer to complete the project and get the additional income flowing before the capital repayments begin, rather than putting unnecessary pressure on cash flow from day one.”

Commenting on the transaction, Sam Greasley added: “Ronan and the wider Momenta Finance team were excellent to work with throughout this transaction.

“What impressed me most was the communication from Ronan – I was kept up to date at every stage and made fully familiar with the process, which meant I could confidently explain to my customer exactly where we were and what was happening next.”

The funding will enable the business to proceed with the refurbishment and extension of its mini golf site and develop the additional visitor attraction.
