Autorola Group has appointed Edwin Acosta Burga as Business Unit Director for Indicata, effective September 1, 2026.

Acosta Burga has been promoted from within the business, having previously served as Head of Fleet Owner Sales at Indicata, Autorola’s automotive data and market intelligence business.

In his new role, he will take overall responsibility for Indicata’s performance and strategic direction, with a focus on growth, commercial collaboration and helping customers use real-time market data to support vehicle pricing, inventory and residual value decisions.

The appointment comes as used vehicle markets continue to face changing pricing dynamics and increasing complexity around stock management, residual values and future demand.

Acosta Burga brings experience across business development, strategic planning and commercial leadership, working with OEMs, fleet and finance providers, leasing and rental companies, dealer networks and insurers.

His experience also covers automotive data, residual value management and sustainable mobility.

Peter Grøftehauge, CEO of Autorola Group, said: “Edwin combines strong commercial judgement and international leadership experience with an excellent understanding of Indicata, its customers and its markets.

“He has already demonstrated his ability to build trusted customer relationships and turn strategic priorities into results. At a time when our customers need greater transparency and faster, more confident decision-making, Edwin is exceptionally well positioned to lead Indicata into its next phase.”

Acosta Burga said his ambition was to position Indicata as an “indispensable strategic partner” to its customers.

“The market is changing rapidly, and customers are making increasingly complex decisions about pricing, stock, risk and future demand,” he said.

“By combining Indicata’s technology and real-time data with our local expertise and international reach, we can create measurable customer value and unlock new opportunities for growth.”

The appointment follows Autorola Group’s appointment of Kent Bjertrup as Chief Revenue Officer, also effective September 1, as the group strengthens its commercial leadership and targets further international growth.
