Leumi ABL backs Compass growth with £20m funding facility

Leumi ABL has provided Compass Business Finance with a £20 million revolving funding facility to support the specialist leasing provider’s continued growth and expansion across its target markets.

The bespoke facility has been designed to provide Compass with a flexible revolving funding structure, enabling the business to expand its loan book while preserving cash flow as lending volumes increase.

Structured to bridge the gap between a traditional block discounting facility and a wholesale funding solution, the arrangement has been tailored to meet Compass Business Finance’s specific funding requirements. A key element of the transaction was Leumi ABL’s ability to support loan agreements backed by government guarantee schemes.

Compass Business Finance, which began as a specialist lender to the print sector, has broadened its offering significantly in recent years and now provides finance solutions to businesses across industries including print and packaging, engineering, construction, professional services and renewables.
