Having previously worked in portfolio management, Annetts brings extensive experience of supporting businesses throughout the funding journey. His understanding of clients’ evolving financial needs is expected to enhance the customer experience while maintaining the high levels of service for which Reward is known. The promotion comes as Reward continues to invest in the Thames Valley, a region recognised for its strong property development market and resilience despite wider challenges affecting the housing sector. The appointment also follows a period of significant growth for the business. Earlier this year, Reward Funding’s loan book surpassed £350 million for the first time in its 15-year history, while the company was also named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for the third consecutive year. The lender has further expanded its regional teams with new appointments across the Midlands, Greater London and the North East. Commenting on his promotion, Tom Annetts said: “I’ve been with the Reward team for a number of years now, and the job is still as exciting as it was on day one. Reward’s reputation is industry leading, and it is known for being agile, relationship-led and genuinely committed to supporting SMEs across the country. “I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running with this new role and building our presence across the Thames Valley and wider South East region. There’s a lot of businesses out there needing funding flexibility at the moment. Even with the current economic uncertainty, opportunities still exist and funding to bridge gaps are needed. The Reward team and I are here and ready to support businesses that want to grow.” Simon Adcock, Regional Director for London and the South East at Reward Funding, added: “The Thames Valley remains a hugely important region for ambitious SMEs and property professionals. Tom’s promotion ensures we continue to invest in local relationships and regional expertise as demand for flexible funding continues to grow.” The promotion forms part of a wider programme of senior appointments and internal progression as Reward Funding continues to expand its regional footprint and strengthen its support for businesses seeking flexible funding solutions amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
