Business Development Director – Mid Ticket Broker Introduced Asset Finance – Flexible location

To £110k plus car, excellent bonus potential and strong benefits package.

Our client is a major lender in the asset finance sector who have a rare opportunity to join a very successful team managing new business introductions made through relationships with existing third party introducers such as brokers, as well as sourcing and establishing new introducer relationships with finance intermediaries, accountants, and other lessors.

The role will involve a thorough evaluation of new business proposals submitted in order to establish credit appetite, working with the end user client and third party introducers. This will involve customer meetings, transaction structuring, and the production of asset valuations where necessary. The role will also require high levels of due diligence, financial and credit analysis, and the preparation of credit submissions to the board.

It is the responsibility of the Business Development Director to ‘manage’ the transaction from proposal to pay-out, in conjunction with the supporting teams in the business, such as sales support, credit & risk, operations, finance & compliance as appropriate for the transaction. 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual ideally with experience in the UK middle ticket leasing market working on multi- million pound transactions within a wide range of market sectors and asset classes.

It is important that candidates have a broad range of structuring skills, legal and documentation experience, as well as knowledge of managed service agreements and assignment arrangements.
