Stellantis N.V. announced today that Joao Laranjo has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Stellantis Leadership Team, effective immediately.

Laranjo succeeds Doug Ostermann, who has stepped down from the role for personal reasons. In his new position, Laranjo will oversee all financial operations of the global automaker.

With more than 20 years of experience in finance, auditing, and the automotive sector, Laranjo brings a strong track record in financial strategy, planning, and operational management. He began his career at General Electric in 2001 before joining Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in 2009, where he advanced through a series of senior financial roles across Latin America and North America. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Stellantis North America after a period at Goodyear as Vice President of Finance for the Americas.

“Having worked closely with Joao for 15 years and witnessed his rise through the ranks, I have consistently been impressed by his excellent financial acumen, results-driven mindset, and deep understanding of our industry’s complexities,” said Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa.

“I am pleased to welcome him to the Stellantis Leadership Team as we continue to position our Company for future growth and long-term success.”

Laranjo holds an MBA from IBMEC in Brazil and completed the Advanced Finance Program at The Wharton School.

Filosa also expressed gratitude to Ostermann, noting his “many years of dedicated service to FCA and Stellantis.”

The automaker confirmed that its 2025 financial guidance remains unchanged and reiterated that its third-quarter 2025 Shipments and Revenues report will be released on October 30, 2025.
