Raiffeisen-Leasing appoints Markus Wimmer as Head of Customer Services

Raiffeisen-Leasing GmbH has appointed Markus Wimmer as the new Head of Private and Corporate Customer Services.

In his role, effective December 1, 2025, Wimmer will lead the strategic and operational development of customer support across the company’s broad client base.

As Austria’s only universal leasing provider, Raiffeisen-Leasing serves a wide range of customers, from private individuals and sole proprietors to large corporations and municipalities.

CEO Alexander Schmidecker said Wimmer’s appointment strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences across all segments.

“As the country’s only universal leasing provider, our broad product portfolio allows us to serve very different customer groups. Even though financing needs vary significantly, an excellent customer experience must always be guaranteed,” Schmidecker said.

“I am therefore delighted that we were able to bring Markus Wimmer on board — a proven expert in product, process, and system development as well as change management. In addition to his technical expertise, he also brings a strong understanding of people.”

Wimmer, who joins with extensive experience in customer-centric process optimisation, said his focus will centre on continuously improving processes while elevating customer experience.
