Asset Finance Sponsored by Asset Finance News One.funding supports launch of MV Asset Finance Published: 18th December 2025 Share One.funding has entered into a partnership with MV Commercial to support the launch of MV Asset Finance, a new asset finance proposition established to provide funding solutions to MV Commercial’s customer base. Under the agreement, MV Asset Finance operates as an MV Commercial brand, with One.funding responsible for providing the underlying structuring, governance and lender engagement framework. The partnership formalises an existing working relationship between the two leadership teams and is intended to provide a consistent and lender-aligned approach to asset finance origination. MV Commercial said its decision to partner with One.funding was based on the experience and reputation of its leadership team, their track record in asset finance, and the technology and processes supporting One.funding’s platform. The arrangement is designed to provide transparency across origination, structuring and lender engagement, supporting confidence for all parties involved in transactions. For lenders, the partnership is expected to provide access to finance opportunities supported by established customer relationships, detailed asset knowledge and defined processes, while maintaining consistent underwriting standards and transaction oversight. Lee Schofield, chief executive of One.funding, said the partnership enables MV Commercial to expand its customer offering while maintaining a robust funding framework. “Our role is to provide structure, governance and consistency, enabling funders to deploy capital with confidence,” he said. Steven Cairns, managing director of MV Commercial, said the company sought a partner capable of supporting its standards from the outset. “One.funding provides the transparency, discipline and infrastructure that allows MV Asset Finance to operate with confidence from day one, while remaining aligned with the MV Commercial brand,” he said. MV Asset Finance will support funding across commercial vehicles, trailers, plant, machinery and specialist equipment, with a focus on assets that are well understood, operationally essential and supported by trading demand.
