The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer has more than doubled its European retail and aftersales footprint compared with 2024, securing over 800 points of sales and service across the continent. The expansion marks a significant milestone in the brand’s rollout strategy and reflects increasing confidence among dealer partners. Leapmotor’s growth has been driven by robust sales performance, particularly for the T03 fully electric city car and the C10, a D-segment SUV offered in both all-electric and hybrid variants. The successful launch of the B10, a fully electric C-segment SUV, has further strengthened the brand’s position. Additional models in the pipeline — including the B10 Hybrid EV with range extender, the B05 BEV hatchback and the B03X fully electric crossover — are expected to maintain momentum into 2026. In the final quarter of 2025, Leapmotor recorded European sales of more than 17,000 vehicles, up from around 1,300 units in the same period in 2024. The brand also achieved over 2% share of the battery electric passenger car market across the EU29 region. Executives attribute the surge to competitive pricing, a strong product-market fit and rapid development of its commercial and aftersales infrastructure. In 2025, Leapmotor expanded into a series of new European markets, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Iceland, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden. The enlarged footprint enables the brand to leverage Stellantis’ extensive European retail and service network. As a result, most customers are now able to access sales and aftersales support within a 25-minute drive. The company sees this proximity as a strategic advantage, helping to build trust, improve service responsiveness and address common concerns associated with newer Chinese EV brands entering the European market. By integrating into Stellantis’ established dealership ecosystem, Leapmotor aims to offer accessibility and reassurance comparable to long-standing automotive players. With a strengthened industrial and commercial foundation, competitive new model launches and the strategic backing of Stellantis, Leapmotor says it is well positioned to meet its targeted European sales volumes in 2026.
