Where’s the growth? Ed Rimmer on reaching more small businesses with invoice finance

Share

The receivables finance industry is lending more, yet fewer businesses are using it.

In the latest episode of Advances: The Receivables Finance Connect Podcast, Ed Rimmer, CEO of Time Finance and Chair of the Receivables Finance Connect Advisory Board, joins host Mike Symes to explore what that shift means for the industry and where its next customers might come from.

Rimmer sees an opportunity to reach more businesses with turnover below £1 million. He discusses what independent lenders can do together to make invoice finance easier to use and better understood by business owners and intermediaries.

The conversation also looks back on Rimmer’s 30 years in the industry, from entering factoring by chance to leading lending businesses. He reflects on the mentors who gave him room to make decisions, how that shaped his own approach to leadership and why he took on the role of advisory board chair.
