Kai Vogler to lead sales and marketing at Volkswagen Financial Services

Volkswagen Financial Services AG has announced the appointment of Kai Vogler as Chief Representative for Sales and Marketing, effective 1 February 2026.

Subject to approval by the supervisory authorities, he is expected to be appointed to the Board of Management at a later date.

The appointment follows Anthony Bandmann assuming the role of Chairman of the Board of Management on 1 January this year. Vogler succeeds him in responsibility for Sales and Marketing, bringing extensive international and sector-specific experience to the role.

Vogler most recently served as CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services Overseas AG, a sister company of Volkswagen Financial Services AG that manages the Volkswagen Group’s financial and mobility services business outside Europe, excluding North America. Prior to this, he held several senior roles within the Volkswagen Group, including Executive Vice-President for Sales and Marketing at SEAT.

Commenting on the appointment, Arno Antlitz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Volkswagen AG, said: “We are delighted to have secured an internationally experienced sales manager like Kai Vogler for the board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. During his many years of service as Sales Director at SEAT, he has gained a deep understanding of the sales and marketing domain as well as our dealer network. With his experience in various markets, he will also help drive the further growth of Volkswagen Financial Services AG in Europe.”

Kai Vogler began his career within the Volkswagen Group in 2006 as IT Director at Porsche Financial Services AG. He joined Volkswagen Financial Services AG in 2012, where he led Corporate Development and Strategy before taking on a series of senior international roles. These included Managing Director of VW Møller Bilfinans AS in Oslo, Regional Manager for selected European markets, and later overall responsibility for European sales.

In 2021, Vogler joined SEAT S.A. as Board Member for Sales, Marketing and After Sales. He returned to Volkswagen Financial Services AG in February 2024, where he led corporate restructuring activities in non-European markets before becoming Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services Overseas AG. In this role, he oversaw markets including Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, India, Australia, China, Japan and South Korea, among others.

As of 1 February 2026, the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services AG comprises Anthony Bandmann (Chairman), Dr. Ingrun-Ulla Bartölke (Finance and Procurement), Dr. Alena Kretzberg (IT and Digital), and Christian Löbke (Risk Management). Arne Puls serves as General Representative for Human Resources and Organization, while Kai Vogler assumes responsibility as General Representative for Sales and Marketing.
